FREEDOM

Oh my does it feel good. I’m wearing sleek boots, a lovely wool cape, a butterfly crystal necklace, and my hair is down to my elbows. And I am at work.

I intended to send a farewell email out to everyone before I officially left the military, something along the lines of “So long and thanks for all the fish, and by the way this is how you can reach me from this point forward”. However, my email account got disabled Monday only to be reactivated on Wednesday only to again be deactivated on Thursday, my first day as a government contractor. I was not particularly upset. I figure if someone really wants to reach me, they already know how to do so.

So now that you don’t have a military email address, how am I supposed to contact you? I used to have a yahoo address for you, but I don’t think I have that any more.

Same goes for me, only I don’t think I ever had your yahoo.

Now for some bribery. My friend Etta from Germany knows of 2 companies that will ship Kinderschokolade to the states (possibly other places too if you can’t get it in Italy), so I guess you’ll have to email me with your new contact info if you want the chocolate hook-up.

Oooh, really? I was planning to stockpile several cases of it before heading to Italia. Thanks for the tip.
